SAPONITE

Saponite is a soft, hydrated magnesium aluminium silicate clay mineral commonly found in altered volcanic rocks and low-grade metamorphic deposits. It typically appears in shades of pale green, blue-green, or grey, with a soapy, smooth texture and a pearly to waxy lustre. In folklore, Saponite was valued for its calming and protective qualities. Metaphysically, it is believed to enhance emotional healing, relaxation, and meditation. The stone is said to promote balance, patience, and gentle energy flow, supporting harmony between mind, body, and spirit.
