Sewardite is an extremely rare calcium chromium vanadate mineral typically found in oxidised zones of vanadium- and chromium-rich deposits. It usually occurs as small, vibrant green crystalline aggregates or crusts with a vitreous to sub-vitreous lustre, captivating collectors with its intense colour.
